The Nero Light Kydex holster was designed specifically for those that are active and in need of an OWB concealment holster. The holster was intentionally narrowed at the bottom to allow for more comfortable sitting and twisting. The belt line was intentionally designed wide to allow for a stable ride. We wanted a bomb-proof Kydex holster that we could wear daily without issue. The result was a custom Kydex holster that works just as perfectly driving and working as it does in a vehicle defense class. This has become our go-to holster when we carry OWB. When paired with our standard 1.5" or 1.75" belt loops, the holster rides close to the body and allows for a comfortable carry. The double layer Kydex front offers increased rigidity and lockup over single layer holsters.
The Nero Light is available in a non light bearing version also. Check out the Nero Holster.

The very first Nero Light was a rare moment. I walked into the machining booth with the intention of machining a unique Kydex holster. An hour after walking in, I came out with the Nero Light. Its the only holster of our original designs that took less than six months to perfect. No changes were needed. The very first Nero Light holster we ever made passed every test we threw at it. There were no plans, no drawings or schematics.....just free handing and going with the flow. It was definitely a change from the norm since many of our holsters have required tons of testing and changes to be ready for the public. The Nero Light came so easy but it still ranks among the top Kydex holsters in terms of functionality and durability. The testing was a breeze.
The Nero Light wasn't only a rare occurrence because it came so easily. It's rare because the Nero Light was never intended to be a production holster. It was a holster that I built for myself with plans of offering them to employees....maybe. I had no plans of putting them up for sale. I wanted something unique and different....something no one else had. I never intended to "test it" in the same way we test production holsters. We test our production holsters by running them hard and destroying them to see how much they can take. I never intended to do that. I ran it hard like I always run my gear. I don't baby anything. I simply ran it hard and didn't pay attention to how it was doing. I took it through a few classes and made it ugly. After those few classes it had deep scratches, burn marks and an overall look proving it had been used and abused. Some of those classes were hardcore. Once it survived the classes I then decided to do official testing on it, so I destroyed it.....scientifically, of course. Once the official testing was complete, I built more and passed them around. We put them through their paces and we took them through more classes. After seeing the torture we were able to put them through and receiving constant compliments on the looks, I decided to offer them for sale. To this day, when I carry OWB (usually winter months), I reach for the Nero Light. In my personal opinion, there is no better OWB EDC holster than the Nero Light Kydex Holster.
